Hi, there. I’m Michelle, and you’ve landed at From Bolt to Beauty, my little corner of the internet. Here you’ll find stories of my triumphs—and tribulations—at my sewing machine.

I have been sewing for 18 years and quilting for 7 years. In addition to being a quilt maker and blogger, I am also a pattern designer. My projects have been featured at QuiltCon, in Curated Quilts, and on websites like Moda Bake Shop and Sew Mama Sew.

I have been writing From Bolt to Beauty since 2014. In a previous life, I was a marketing writer and editor for books, magazines, and websites.

Thank you for joining me on my quilting journey! I am so pleased you’re here!

Do you offer free patterns and tutorials?

Yes! Visit my tutorial page for some free projects.

Do you sell patterns?

I sell patterns at Quilt Pattern Mart, an online retailer specializing in PDF quilt patterns.

Where do I direct questions about transactions at Quilt Pattern Mart?

Because I do not own or run Quilt Pattern Mart, I can’t help you with questions about your transactions. Email info [at] quiltpatternmart [dot] com to get your important questions answered promptly. : )

Do you sell patterns wholesale?

My Ridiculously Easy Jelly Roll pattern is available for wholesale orders. This is a four-color professionally printed pattern that comes with a unique barcode and a clear, resealable hanging bag. If you’re interested in carrying this pattern in your shop, please drop me a note at frombolttobeauty [at] gmail [dot] com.

Where can I find pattern errata?

To date, no errors have been found in the patterns.

Do you accept commissions or sell your finished quilts?

No, I do not. I would consider collaborations with other quilters or quilt publications, however.

Where can I direct other questions?

Email me directly at frombolttobeauty [at] gmail [dot] com.
