Contact/FAQs

Hi, there. I’m Michelle, and you’ve landed at From Bolt to Beauty, my little corner of the internet. Here you’ll find stories of my triumphs—and tribulations—at my sewing machine.

I have been sewing for 21 years and quilting for 10 years. In addition to being a quilt maker and blogger, I am also a pattern designer. My projects have been featured at QuiltCon, in Curated Quilts and Love Patchwork and Quilting, and on websites like Moda Bake Shop and Sew Mama Sew.

I have been writing From Bolt to Beauty since 2014. In a previous life, I was a marketing writer and editor for books, magazines, and websites.

Thank you for joining me on my quilting journey! I am so pleased you’re here!

FAQs

Do you sell patterns?

I sell my PDF patterns in my Etsy shop. There you’ll find PDF versions of every pattern as well as some designs professionally printed and available for sale.

Do you sell patterns wholesale?

My Ridiculously Easy Jelly Roll, Love Boldly, and Pretty in Pluses patterns are available for wholesale orders. These full-color professionally printed patterns come with a unique barcode and a clear, resealable hanging bag. If you’re interested in carrying any of them in your shop, please drop me a note at frombolttobeauty [at] gmail [dot] com.

Where can I find pattern errata?

To date, one issue has been identified: On the label page of the digital version of Irish Twist (that is, the very last page of the pattern), Fabric D should be pink and Fabric E should be gray. Purchases of Irish Twist made after 12/3/22 reflect this correction.

Do you accept commissions or sell your finished quilts?

I do not accept commissions, but I sell some select pieces in my Etsy shop.

Where can I direct other questions?

Email me directly at frombolttobeauty [at] gmail [dot] com.
