Hi, there. I’m Michelle, and you’ve landed at From Bolt to Beauty, my little corner of the internet. Here you’ll find stories of my triumphs—and tribulations—at my sewing machine.

I have been sewing for 19 years and quilting for 9 years. In addition to being a quilt maker and blogger, I am also a pattern designer. My projects have been featured at QuiltCon, in Curated Quilts, and on websites like Moda Bake Shop and Sew Mama Sew.

I have been writing From Bolt to Beauty since 2014. In a previous life, I was a marketing writer and editor for books, magazines, and websites.

Thank you for joining me on my quilting journey! I am so pleased you’re here!

Do you offer free patterns and tutorials?

Yes! Visit my tutorial page for some free projects.

Do you sell patterns?

I sell my PDF patterns at Quilt Pattern Mart, an online retailer specializing in PDF quilt patterns. In my Etsy shop, you’ll find PDF versions of every pattern as well as some designs professionally printed and available for sale.

Where do I direct questions about transactions at Quilt Pattern Mart?

Because I do not own or run Quilt Pattern Mart, I can’t help you with questions about your transactions. Email info [at] quiltpatternmart [dot] com to get your important questions answered promptly. : )

Do you sell patterns wholesale?

My Ridiculously Easy Jelly Roll, Love Boldly, and Pretty in Pluses patterns are available for wholesale orders. These four-color professionally printed patterns come with a unique barcode and a clear, resealable hanging bag. If you’re interested in carrying either pattern in your shop, please drop me a note at frombolttobeauty [at] gmail [dot] com.

Where can I find pattern errata?

To date, no errors have been found in the patterns.

Do you accept commissions or sell your finished quilts?

No, I do not. I would consider collaborations with other quilters or quilt publications, however.

Where can I direct other questions?

Email me directly at frombolttobeauty [at] gmail [dot] com.
