If you’re new here, I’m Michelle and you’ve landed at From Bolt to Beauty, where I record my quilty adventures. I have been quilting for over six years and blogging about quilting for five. I’m a modern girl and love bold and graphic designs, oversize blocks, and lots of negative space in my quilts. You can browse some of my favorite projects below. If you like what you see, let’s keep in touch!
With Third Time’s the Charm, I made up for the minimalist design and
palette with size. Some of these flying geese are 40 inches in length! |
Near Wild Heaven is my ode to oversize stars and the color yellow. |
I based the design for Circa 1870, which was displayed at QuiltCon 2019, on an antique house in the small New England town I call home. |
Mix and Mingle is my unique interpretation of a nine-patch and was shown at QuiltCon 2017. |
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to go main event page to visit others in the Online Quilters Meet & Greet!
I found you awhile back and nice to see you are Benita's roll today -
ReplyDeleteOh my, I love Mix & Mingle! I need to get your linky party on my schedule (of course, if I had a schedule that might help - LOL). Seriously, though, I need to start participating in that one! Thanks for sharing a little about you and your lovely quilts!
ReplyDeleteI love all these quilts!
ReplyDeleteI really like Circa 1870. I also signed up to follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the puzzle quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour Mix and Mingle quilt, I have loved ever since you debuted it. All of your quilts are truly pretty as well.
ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of seeing mix and mingle at Quilt Con. I was so impressed with all the different interpretations of nine patches there. I am also really drawn to minimalism and love third time's a charm as well.
ReplyDeleteSo much to see and interpret in Near Wild Heaven. Each time I look at it - several times so far - I see something I didn't see before.
ReplyDeleteI have been following you a long time. Love your inspiration and honesty.
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle! I have been remiss about posting lately - no finishes. I just ADORE the Third Time's A Charm quilt - love, love, LOVE that color palette and everything about it. I hope this hop drives a lot of traffic to your Friday linky - it should because you host a great party. Are the kiddos back in school now? Is it time to crank out the quilting on all those quilt tops you made over the summer? I'm looking forward to seeing them all finished. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteOh, wow -- bold and modern! Nice to meet you on the blog hop!
