Hi Michelle, I've only quilted one quilt from a jelly roll, for Bandit, the first dog we adopted. I keep it by my bed since it has a flannel backing. It keeps me warm and cozy and full of doggy love :-)
ReplyDeleteI just finished the pattern Ridiculously Easy Jelly Roll Quilt today and am dropping it off for long arm services tomorrow. I was not aware of jelly roll day so timing seems to have been perfect. Thank you for such an excellent pattern - it was very easy to follow for a beginner like me.

ReplyDeleteIn 40 years of quiltmaking, I've never bought a jelly roll. I was gifted one and participated in a jelly roll race to make quilts for charity. That was a fun time, seeing all the different versions of "race" quilt tops that could be made. No doubt you have many makers interested in making jelly roll quilts as they continue to be the thing to do. Have fun with those rolls!
