I often work with small pieces and intricate designs, so taking them down, only to put them back up again later becomes a challenge. Right now I have a project going that has been on my wall for over a month. It isn't coming together, but neither will it die. In the meantime, I'm working on other quilts without using the wall. Arrrgggg.... (a serious first world problem, I know). Thanks for this insight into your process. I took advantage of one of my husband's business trips and dedicated as much time as I could to finishing this up while he was gone. Eleven bobbins and about two weeks later, the quilt was bound.
